Audio Essay November 29, 2007
My audio essay is talking about the importance of having health insurance for your child. I go into detail about my own personal story with my daughter Leila, and starting statistics about the amount of children who go uncovered in the United States. There is a lot help for people who cannot afford health insurance for their child. Take this as an opportunity to pass this information along to people you may know who are in the same boat.
Video Progress November 29, 2007
My progress on my video is going great! As I was working on it I made some well needed changes, deleted things, added things. I finished up on Tuesday and was very happy with the outcome. Actually I am not totally 100% finished I have to do my credit page and then I can be done. Working on this video did take a lot of time and planing out. You just have to get one good idea and work from that. I found it kinda of hard to try and sit down and plan out every slide and step I had to take it page by page.
Wysoki November 15, 2007
Being in a world where everything is rapidly growing and changing right in-front of our eyes we can’t help but want the fast, easy most convenient ways of living. With the media there are such possibilities out there that we can’t help but notice. Everything is being shifted from hard hand made work to computer generated ideas and concepts. Wysoki idea of interactive mediais not only eye friendly but it is easy to design and look at. Designing a website you need to make sure you have the proper fonts, colors, sizes, layout, etc.you want people to look at it and remember that for a long time to come. Our lives are so paced now a days its hard to find time to make dinner, Christmas shop, and look for a new car. All those tie consuming chores have been moved to online so we can view them on our own time and at our own speed. You can read a book, download music videos, essays, order pizza, look at new cars, shop for just about anything out there. We can’t help but fall into the big black of media and all that it has to offer.
Copyright November 8, 2007
Copyright is more important than people like to think it is. I know personally sometimes when doing art projects I couldn’t take a certain image and do with it what i would like to since it had a copyright on it. Copyright gives the original creator the credit they deserve. They worked and spent a lot of time of their pieces and would not like anyone to be able to come in and change it any way they want to. It allows people to also view the work in the original format without any alterations from anyone. People cannot borrow their work, they cannot change and edit there work. What may be really important in the piece the original owner made may not be so important in the other person’s eyes, they could take out that part and totally disrupt the meaning, look, sound, ect.
Yes we all need a start sometimes when creating a piece of art but that image and do your style to it and make it something you yourself can copyright and not have anyone take it. Even if it is frustrating not being able to use a piece you’ll be happy in the long run with having a copyright out there so other cannot take it.
Goal for Video October 30, 2007
My goal for the video is to raise awareness of how serious this issue is. I want the audience to know that there is FREE Universal Health Care out there for their children’s use. If they do not have children themselves pass the information a long to someone who does and tell them how important it is to get.

This child looks sick but happy at the same time since his parents are right by his side. The parents look happy as well knowing their child is getting proper health care
This little girl doesn’t look happy at all. I am thinking she is sick and just can’t get through to anyone that she needs to see a doctor. She is just screaming for help.
You tube video/link October 25, 2007
This video is talking about President Bush’s goal for children’s health insurance. Who really knows if its really going to go through or not. Here is the link to the Youtube video.
“The New Game” October 15, 2007
After listening to the essay I thought I knew a person who this may be geared towards but the more I sat here and thought I came up with maybe it was the opposite. I picture in my mind a very troubled and lost teenager that has the world handed to them, perfect hair, perfect smile, perfect car, perfect clothes, perfect life style in general. A female, still in high school. Captain of the cheer-leading squad, honor student, most popular in her class. It seems to me that the most well-rounded, most popular students have the most problems. She feels as if there is too much pressure on her dealing with school, friends, family, sports, keeping up with her status at school and even having a job after school. She has zero time to relax and be a normal teenager. When she comes home from school/ practice she needs to have dinner, spend time with family, and then hurry and run off to work. She is having problems finding time to study and make sure homework is done. Its hard for her to find a good balance with everything thrown at her at once. Parents want and like to see their children succeeded and to amazingly well at all different things. It makes a “well rounded” person. She doesn’t want to let down her parents, her friends, her school, and even herself. She tries hard to keep up a fake wall and not let people see how hurt and run down she truly is. The only thing in her life that makes her feel normal and alive in seeing herself bleed. It makes her “perfect” life not so perfect anymore, it allows her to see her flaws and see she isn’t perfect, that she too can and will make mistakes.
